The GBC Open Day Trust has generously donated £5,000 to the Supported Needs Action Group (SNAG) to help fund OMi’s Budii Interactive Projectors for special needs education and community facilities in Gibraltar.
These Budii systems will be used in institutions including St Martin’s, St Joseph’s Upper School, the College of Further Education, and the St Bernadette’s Resource Centre. The Budii is a compact, motion-activated interactive projector that transforms any surface into an engaging, immersive space for play, learning, and sensory exploration. Its activities are designed to stimulate movement, encourage social interaction, and provide enriching sensory experiences for learners of all abilities.
The funding was made possible thanks to the GBC Open Day fundraising initiative, which supports charitable causes across Gibraltar. These Budii systems will be an invaluable addition to these facilities, providing innovative learning opportunities and enhancing the daily experiences of students and service users.
SNAG expressed their gratitude to the GBC Open Day Trust for helping make this vision a reality, noting the long-term benefits the Budii will bring to both students and staff.
“The Budii projector opens up new opportunities for engagement, creativity, and inclusion. It’s more than just a piece of technology – it’s a bridge to better communication and learning for our community.” – SNAG Representative
